What is Airsoft
Airsoft is a registered recreational sport in South Africa and can be compared to a contemporary version of civil war re-enactment in America or a more advanced and tactical version of paintball.
Airsoft guns are close replicas of the real steel firearms used by Armed Forces around the world.
Airsoft guns are also collected by enthusiasts, modified and accessorised with silencers or weapon optics for use in airsoft games or display and commonly used by motion-picture studios, but most commonly for the enjoyment of airsoft military simulation games.
Airsoft are played by young and old alike and whole families gather for event days.

What is Milsim
Milsim is an abbreviation of Military Simulation, and refers to military simulations conducted by civilians for entertainment purposes. There are several forms of MilSim: airsoft games, paintball games, and video games simulating military scenarios and tactics.
Weapons used by ZEKE OPS members in Milsim are Airsoft weapons. Airsoft guns are used more often in Milsim than paintball guns due to their availability as replica weapons without any modification.
Due to the close resemblance of airsoft weapons, they are used in real-world training environments like force on force, weapons handling and fundementals.
Milsim most often falls into two different categories: reenactment and simulation. Reenactments focus on a particular event in history and aim to provide the most accurate representation of the time period, events, and outcomes of the historical event. Simulation, however, may only focus on a particular time period and representation of which course a particular situation may have taken in history. In most cases a simulation event includes fictitious characters, groups, and political situations called scenarios.
